A Handful of Fives

George Nelson, creator-curator of 2024 All Party Parliamentary winning Moment's Notice, launches a new annual event. A Handful of Fives riffs of the five-musician format of Moment's Notice, only this time in established combos/solos and in any feasible configuration of five ( a trio and two solos, a quartet and a solo, a trio and a duo etc). So, hypothetically you might get Run The Jewels with The Carpenters and Matana Roberts (duo, duo, solo).

The first Handful of Five is solo, trio, solo:

SOLO: Saied Silbak (Oud)

TRIO: An Alien Called Harmony - Momoko Gill (Drums, Voice), Nadeem Din-Gabisi (Words, Flute) Mei Kirby (Piano, Keys)

SOLO: Kadialy (Kora)
