  • On the day of the wedding, access is from 11am until 12:30am with music off at 12am. There is also a 1hr collection window the following morning from 10am - 11am for any leftover decorations and items.

  • Yes, any vehicles that need to load or unload can drive right on site, directly from the Old Kent Road. We allow up to 2 cars at one time.

  • There is free parking on Wagner Street, directly behind the arches and on Ilderton Road. For aesthetic and safety reasons we do not allow cars to park onsite during the wedding.

  • There is a coat-rail for your use should you require.

  • Yes we have wifi in both arches

  • We have varying layouts for dining at AMP Studios, our recommended set up is 3 long banquet tables for 96 people. However other configurations can seat up to 115.

  • Yes, but it must be biodegradable flower petals. We don’t allow confetti cannons or helium balloons.

  • Yes, we have a full PA system, mics for speeches and x8 uplighters. The equipment is included within the hire fee.

  • Yes, we can have up to a 5 piece band with 150 standing (max capacity) in the end party arch (arch 4). We recommend hiring a sound engineer for their soundcheck and performance. If the band doesn’t have one, then we can organise one for you at £15ph.

    We allow live music in the courtyard up until 9pm.

  • Yes, the shutters go down from 9pm to contain the music. Don’t worry, this doesn’t affect the party! Guests can still enter through the arch door next to the shutter. The venue manager will monitor the sound levels during the evening to ensure this does not exceed 85 db from outside in the courtyard.

  • Yes! Our staff will break down the tables and chairs from around 9pm. If you’d like us to do this earlier and move your hired furniture into the space then this can be arranged at an additional fee.

  • No, it’s better to have a sit down meal or buffet in Arch 3 as there is a lot more floor space for the tables and chairs and the caterers area is directly behind this. The end arch, where the bar is located, is perfect for live music and the evening party!

  • Yes, you can have bunting in both arches and we can hang this for you before setting up the tables and chairs. Our staff will also take this down at the end of the night and store your decorations ready for you to collect the following day. Please note, all items that are left in the studios overnight are left at your own risk. If there are any items that hold specific sentimental value we advise you take these away on the day of the event.

  • Yes! we can organise this for you. We’ll provide all the glassware, ice, table linen, drinks and staff to serve.
    You’ll have the chance to run through all of this during your wedding meeting with our bar supervisor.

  • AMP Studios runs the evening bar, we just ask for a £2000 minimum spend. We have a bar brochure which includes lots of information on our different packages.

    If you’re providing your own table wine, the minimum spend increases to £3000.

  • No, we work with a local supplier called Signature Brewery and offer a lager and IPA on tap.

  • The evening bar is open from 5pm until 11:50pm. If you would like the bar to be open earlier, this can be arranged at an extra cost.

  • The minimum spend is £2000 if we’re organising your wine for the meal.

    If you’re providing your own wine the minimum spend for the eve bar is £3000

  • There’s no corkage if you’d like to provide your own wine for the meal. However, the minimum spend for the evening. bar increases from £2000 to £3000. If you go for this option, you must hire your own wine and water glasses for the table and ask your caterers to set this up and pack this away after the meal has finished.

  • We only supply ice for the evening bar. Please order ice or discuss this with your caterer to arrange this for you.

    If we are organising your welcome drinks and table wine then we can provide this at no extra cost.

  • We have a wonderful selection of approved catering partners to choose from who know the studios inside out!

    If you’d like to use an external caterer that is not on our list we ask for a small fee of £250. Please get in touch for more details.

  • Yes, food trucks work really well in the courtyard alongside the back wall opposite the event arches (not the artists studios located in the first 2 arches within the site). There’s accessible power and running water close by. All the planters are on wheels so you can move these around wherever you like.

  • Yes, we allow BBQs but not directly underneath the pavilion - this can go in the courtyard against the wall.

  • Yes, we have a back courtyard which is fully covered. There is also running hot water, heaters and lots of power (13amp) for them to use.

  • No, the back courtyard is not accessible to the wedding party. This area is for AMP staff and the caterers.

  • Yes! We provide 2 security guards and this is included within the venue fee! We’ll ask you to send us your guest list the week of your wedding or a password for your guests to use on the day.

  • We have 5 toilets in total. There is one accessible toilet in the end party arch (arch 4) and 4 outside toilets in the courtyard.

  • The balance is due at least 2 weeks before the wedding. We’ll send you an invoice for this around 3 months before the date.

  • The deposit is £800.

  • No, we don’t have an in house wedding coordinator for AMP Studios but please get in touch and we can recommend an external coordinator who is on our suppliers list.

  • Yes, we have heaters inside both arches, heaters that hang under the pavilion and two wall heaters in the back courtyard for your caterer.
